MAC... finally!

Okay, so I wanted the Lightscapade MSF, and a few other things from MAC recently. I had to order that damn MSF THREE times to finally get it!!
I don't know what was going on but I did curse them a few times.

I'll put a picture of all I got as soon as I get my camera back.

I  bought a Dish It Up back-up, two blushes from the Tres Cheek collection, MSF Lightscapade, and Whisper of Gilt from the Reel Sexy, a lip prep+prime, Just Wonderful lip pencil and Real Posh lipglass. The last time I ordered the MSF I added a 6x blush palette, because I've been considering buying one for some time and the total meant not paying the post and package costs so... yeah, mathematically it's stupid ^^

Newcomers from the last two months...

- New foundation : Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich SPF15. I like it very much, it's lightweight, has a medium coverage, the right color for me these days :)

- Lipsticks a-gogo : Nars Pure Matte in Valparaiso in February : Worn it a lot, love it! Good thing it's permanent now, or I'd already have bought a back-up.

MAC's Dish It Up (I love it so much I just bought a back-up), Sweetie (and one for my mom), Creme de la Femme, Zen Rose, Snob, Lovelorn. Those last two I'm not wearing much at the moment because I'm more into brights but it'll come.

Revlon 457 Wild Orchid : I am lemming after MAC Show Orchid which is a Pro shade only, so I got this one instead. Maybe during my vacation if I'm near a Pro Store I'll compare them and decide if I still want it.

Revlon Lip Butter in 25 Peach Parfait : I was looking for something more nude, but since my lips are quite pigmented on their own, and I wanted to try those, and it's quite good but I won't buy another shade.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in 9 : yep, another very bright pink which actually I thought was going to be redundant with my Illamasqua Atomic. But once I got home a quick side by side swatch showed me I had nothing to worry, Atomic's got a lot more red in it. Actually the MUFE and the Revlon Wild Orchid are waaaay closer. Maybe if I mix them I can dupe Show Orchid?

(There's a distinct pattern here : almost all of those are pinks. Some very bright!)

I also bought a few MAC blushes and eyeshadows on Cheapsmells. At my MAC corner or on the website, I bought Dollymix, two lip pencils, in Beet and Vino, and an few refills : Beautiful Iris, Plum Dressing, Nylon, and I don't remember the rest. (Maybe I'll do a MAC collection once.)


I also finally got into jeggings (during my spree) and man am I happy. This is what I should have been wearing for years. I'm never going back. Or maybe, for my beloved fitted flare, if I can ever find a pair that fits me like the dream that are my old ones from Evans.

MAC's Hey Sailor! Collection : particularly the Nautical eyeshadow.

Nars Summer collection : it's getting on the website, ordering possible from April 13th. I'm looking forward to the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Never Say Never.

Guerlain with Emilio Pucci : looks very nice but I doubt I'll buy anything : I already have a Meteorites compact, a Terracotta, and if I remember correctly the previous editions of that brush were no successes.

Book-wise :
Looking forward to the new Janet Evanovich :)

Life-wise :
I'm making plan to spend my birthday alone and very far from my family. I need a vacation after the year we got. I'm looking forward to that, you have no idea.

Makeup Addict Problem to solve.

I think one of makeup addicts' first and foremost problems (once money's been figured out, I mean) is ... STORAGE.

You can do whatever you want, give away, re-sell, put in another room... you never have enough space for your make-up. And worse, there's always the next collections coming out.

Why do you think there's so many make-up storage videos on Youtube?
Because once we've found the solution, we're so proud we wanna share! 
Personnaly, I'm still trying.
I bought and put together the Ikea - MALM vanity a few months ago.

Ohhh yeah it's great. But even when I had just organized most of my make-up in it, I was still short on space. Aaaand I'm still looking. I think I'm going to cave and buy a 2 sets of MUJI drawers.
I also haven't found quite the right mirror yet. And the amount of daylight in my appartment sucks, so there's that...

Anyway, it's an ongoing battle we have with ourselves, our money, the space we live in, home decor and the cosmetics companies.

NBC Smash - Katharine McPhee covering Brighter Than The Sun from Colbie Caillat. There's an OST due on May 1st with that song on it, I'm so purchasing that title on iTunes.

And we are HOME!

We got home safely on Tuesday, but I've been way too busy with getting her back in her stuff.

I'm staying with her for a few weeks, she wants the company, I'm free since I dropped out of college a few weeks back (yep, I ain't talking about that any further).

The Tres Cheek collection finally appeared onto the MAC website, I ordered myself Pink Tea and Lovecloud, a CCB in Pearl for highlights, the MSF in Lightscapade from the Reel Sexy collection and the Whisper of Gilt MSF from the In Extra Dimension collection.
I thought about getting one of the Extra Dimension eyeshadows but the swatches didn't convince me, and there's one that's got my name tattooed on it in the Hey, Sailor collection.


I also ordered the last clothes I need for the season and a few other thingies from a uk site : mixing palette, empty pans, magnetic dots....

I bumped into a car on the hospital parking lot.
Well, I scratched it actually, though it was just paint.

I was driving my mom's car, which literally is a tank, and got NOTHING.

Left my phone number. Waiting now.

The stress level was incomfortably high. It brought me all back to my car accident a few years back, and it's horrifying, though the two events have nothing in common. I imagine I'm due for some nightmares again in the coming nights...

Hospital Break

Okay, my mum's getting out on tuesday and it's great, because :

- I'm tired of the time it's taking me to go see her since they cut off the tram. 1h30 instead of 20min is NOT making me happy. And that's only one way.

- She's being depressed, and I ain't happy either.

- I've been stress shopping, mainly cosmetics, it's killing my savings and I'm running out of space! Not to mention I already have enough for three lives in a family with five sisters.
Sephora and my Mac corner are starting to look waaay too familiar.
Maybe I'll do a little haul or a list of my buys. Lucky I'm not on Youtube, I'd have enough for a 2-hours-long video.
